Program Notes

"spora" is inspired by the growth patterns of mycelium through their spiraling and exponential expansion. Fungi are vital in helping to rejuvenate and repair growth in ecosystems, significantly contributing to the life force within landscapes. The piece captures these dynamics and behaviors by weaving sounds that gradually build to form an evergrowing intricate web.
